The main stages and results of the introduction of digitalization in the provision of basic services of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Rosselkhoznadzor» are considered. In recent years, there has been a trend of digital transformation in Russia in various industries and the work of various organizations, the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Rosselkhoznadzor» is also no exception. In 2019-2020, with the coordination of the Department of Plant Protection services of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Rosselkhoznadzor, together with the plant protection department of the branch of the institution for the Republic of Tatarstan and Genom LLC, work begins on the creation of the Digital Phytomonitoring module, which was subsequently combined with the Agrosemexpert module into one computer program under the general name Agroexpert. The Agroexpert computer program automates the processes of collection, accumulation, processing, analysis and provision of information related to the provision of public services by agricultural producers in the territory of the Russian Federation. In the field of phytomonitoring and plant protection, the Agroexpert program in 2021-2024 is actively used by all branches, information on identified harmful objects is maintained and reporting tables are being formed. For the stable transition of all branches of the institution to new digital methods of work, as well as in order to ensure the synchronicity of the work of branches on digitalization, 2020 was declared the Year of Digitalization at the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Rosselkhoznadzor», which involved updating personal computers and other electronic devices, providing Internet access and maximum rejection of paper document management, which corresponded to one of the national goals of «Digital Transformation» is outlined in the Decree of the President of Russia V.V. Putin's «On the National Development Goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030». The work carried out allows us to assess the main directions of work on the implementation of digital programs and applications in the work of the institution. Further development of digital transformation will be carried out on the already established digital base and will be aimed primarily at the introduction of methods for automating the work of specialists of the institution.
