The use of growth regulators is an agricultural practice aimed at increasing potato yield and quality. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and summarize scientific information on this topic and create an information resource on the use of growth regulators in potato cultivation, storage, and propagation. This paper presents an analysis of the results of scientific research related to the use of growth-regulating preparations at various stages of the potato life cycle. The impact of the use of growth regulators of various types on the yield and quality of table potatoes is considered, applying to different varieties in different soil and climatic conditions. The possibility of reducing pesticide application rates when used in combination with growth regulators, as well as their accelerated degradation under the influence of the latter, are noted. Based on the results of research conducted at the Department of Technology of Storage and Processing of Fruit and Vegetable and Plant Products, conclusions have been drawn on the feasibility and prospects of using growth regulators in the storage of seeds and food products in order to reduce losses due to diseases due to their immunomodulatory effect. A tank mixture containing 0.02% Zircon and 4% NaturCover, a film-forming agent, was developed and patented. Its use suppresses the development of dry Fusarium rot and ensures a marketable yield of 87.0-93.6%. The application of growth regulators in in vitro potato propagation is discussed. Based on an analysis of scientific and technical information sources, a conclusion is drawn regarding current research trends in the use of growth regulators in potatoes and promising areas that are currently underdeveloped.
