Ways of watermelon growing for seeds

Effectiveness of methods of growing watermelon table for seed purposes in the conditions of the Volgograd Trans-Volga region in 2015–2016 is evaluated. The importance of the use of growth regulators and methods of tillage on the yield, growth and development of watermelon plants and seed yield per unit area is shown. The optimal methods of seedbed and seed preparation for growing watermelon for seed purposes.

Time, methods of planting and growth regulators as elements of resource-saving technology of potato growing

The research was carried out to study the methods, time of tubers planting of medium-ripening potato varieties, and to identify the least energy-consuming method. Studies have shown that in conditions of Non-chernozem zone potato variety allows the Vector to yield 36–38 t/ha was the least energy-intensive raised bed method of planting.

Zenkor Ultra, СS for carrots protection.

The results of studies for assessment the effectiveness of herbicides on carrot crops are presented. The optimal norm of of Zencor Ultra, KS application, its biological efficiency and safety of use are ascertained. Zencor Ultra, KS at an optimal rate of 0.5 l/ha is promising for use on carrots in the phase of three leaves clogged with sensitive species of annual dicotyledonous weeds.

Improvement of vegetable-growing technologies in open ground.

The article describes the features of modern vegetable-growing technologies in open ground. An analysis of a complex of vegetable growing machines is given and options for their modernization are outlined. The most optimal system of irrigation and fertigation, plant nutrition the use of complex machines and other mandatory elements of modern high-tech vegetable growing.

Borscht vegetables in Russia

The analysis of the market of vegetables of borscht group in the Russian Federation as everywhere grown and traditionally recognized in multinational Russia is resulted. The volumes of production, normative need and self-sufficiency for each crop in the context of Federal districts, their import and export, prices of consumers and producers are shown. Offers on improvement of mechanisms of stable providing the population of Russia with vegetables of borscht group are given.
